Construction is progressing beautifully on the Linfield University Campus for the W.M. Keck Science Center to create a state-of-the-art science center impacting all Linfield science departments. In an effort to minimize disruption and keep employees and classrooms in place as long as possible, construction on the McMinnville campus has been phased-in demolition, construction and then the renovation process. Designed by SRG Partnership, this project is critical to Linfield’s distinctive science education, fostering new levels of student engagement and empowering cross-disciplinary, research-oriented STEM programs!

OSU-Cascades Residence Hall and Dining Center to Open

Pacific University’s new Cascade Hall

Emily Sproul had her heart set on Pacific University long before she set foot on campus.

After moving in Thursday, the freshman said the campus — especially her dorm room in brand-new Cascade Hall — didn’t disappoint.

“I showed up and it just blew me away how beautiful it is,” Sproul said. “All of the dorms were nice, but this is just amazing.”

The new 61,500 square-foot residence hall sleeps about 80 freshmen and 120 sophomores and is seeking LEED Gold certification as a green building.
