ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT

O'Neill/Walsh Community Builders LLC (OWCB) is a newly formed general contracting venture which brings together the combined 63 years of experience of Walsh Construction Co. and O'Neill Electric. O'Neill Inc/O'Neill Electric Inc. is a growing and dynamic electrical and general contractor which builds on our strong ties in the minority contracting community, our commitment to quality and our strong desire to grow and improve our company. Because of our new partnership, we are seeking a motivated, professional Assistant Superintendent, who is a self-starter with good time management skills to join the O'Neill Inc/O'Neill Electric Inc. team.

The ideal candidate for our Assistant Superintendent position will have 3 - 5 years experience building commercial and multi-family projects. Responsibilities include assisting with: pre-construction, field organization, coordination with jurisdictions, management of crews, subcontractors and suppliers, cost control, owner/architect relations, documentation, quality control, project close-out.

Successful candidates will have a proven record of hands on construction field experience and a capacity for developing management skills. Wood frame, structural concrete and/or steel experience is desired. MS Project/Excel/Word skills required. Construction Management degree preferred.

Salary and benefits to be negotiated dependent on experience and qualifications.
