Consisting of four architecturally distinct buildings, Washougal Town Square is a two-story, single block mixed-use development situated around a landscaped public plaza. The structure is steel red-iron with wood infill and has approximately 25,000 SF of office and 22,000 SF of retail space built over an underground parking garage. It was constructed to meet the standards of the US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program. In order to meet the LEED Silver goals, water use was reduced more than 30% by using water-efficient plumbing fixtures. The project also includes storm-water management and water efficient landscaping that routes storm water from the building roofs to planters located throughout the site.
