Decibel is a mixed-use, affordable workforce housing community with high end retail on the ground level and a roof deck and dog run at the top. Decibel is one of three projects Walsh is working on for Spectrum Development at this time. The three projects are named Anthem, Decibel, and Reverb in honor of Jimi Hendrix who once lived in the area.
Decibel will consist of 75 units with a mix of studios, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom units with 17 underground garage spaces. Decibel will have a roof top deck with a fire pit, dog run, dog wash station, and two barbecue grills complete with a prep station. Decibel will offer 3,000 square feet of commercial space located on the ground floor along 12th Avenue. The commercial space will sport 24 foot ceilings, which brings another element of uniqueness to the project. Twenty percent of the units at Decibel will be affordable with the rents at 65%, 75% and 85% AMI for studios, 1-bedrooms and 2-bedrooms respectively. The project is targeting LEED Gold certification.
