Built on an extremely sloped site, this project provides 84 apartments in two buildings for senior independent living. Forty-four units are reserved for seniors age 62 +, which are subsidized through HUD’s 202 program; 39 units are available to seniors age 55 + who earn a qualifying low income. There is a large community room with a kitchen, activity lounges on each floor and a computer center. Each unit has a spacious floor plan, fully equipped kitchen with Energy Star appliances, European style cabinetry and many green features.

Due to the sloped site, the project required extensive site control and incorporated several exposed architectural concrete walls and columns into the exterior façade which include cedar ship lap siding and hardie plank siding. The finished site also includes several flow-through planters and a dry creek bed designed to control the flow of water and create interesting landscape features.
