Congratulations to the Julian Hotel team on the Historic Preservation Award presented in Corvallis, Oregon on May 19! City of Corvallis Mayor Biff Traber presented Historic Preservation Certificates of Merit to Northwest Housing Alternatives, Willamette Neighborhood Housing Services and Carleton Hart Architecture PC in the Sensitive Rehabilitation category for the 1892 Julian Hotel. Traber stated that the award honored “all of the project partners in their significant efforts… to save and restore the historic Julian Hotel with renewed life, preserving a vital presence within our downtown for years to come.”
The Hotel Julian has been a treasured part of Corvallis history since its establishment in the 1880s and its conversion to a place of affordable housing for our elderly and disabled community members is integral to the character of Corvallis. We were honored to be a part of this community-enhancing project and want to congratulate all of our project partners and our WALSH team members Aaron Elliott, Lane Lehrke and Caitlin Kelley!
