12th Avenue Arts is one of 22 finalists for Urban Land Institute’s Global Awards for Excellence Competition and is the ONLY Seattle project to make the final cut! Six finalists are from Asia and five are from Europe so it is truly a global competition.
This cutting-edge, six-story building has 88 units of affordable housing, theater space, offices, retail and underground parking for the Seattle Police Department. Congratulations to the team including SMR Architects, Capital Hill Housing, Glumac and Coughlin Porter Lundeen!
Winners of the awards show a high standard of excellence in design, construction, economics, planning and management. The winners will be announced October 5-8 in San Francisco.
