Pacific University Groundbreaking Video

The 60,000 SF new residence hall at Pacific University is successfully under construction by WALSH and Mahlum Architects and will be the third new residence hall built on the Forest Grove campus since 2006.

Here is the link to the official groundbreaking ceremony video held on October 10 at the construction site during the University’s Homecoming weekend.

Joe Lang, Pacific University spokesman, said the four-story, 200 bed residence hall is in response to growing enrollment. Lang said the university currently has about 1,700 undergraduate students and expects 2,000 by 2020.

“It’s all kind of a testament to the enrollment growth over the years,” he said.

WALSH feels very fortunate to be working with an exceptional project team on an exceptional campus in the Pacific Northwest.
