Spectrum, Mithun and WALSH start 75-unit Decibel near Yesler Terrace

Decibel will have 75 units, 3,000 SF of retail and is targeting LEED gold and Built Smart certification. A quarter of the units will be affordable housing, some for people making less than 65 percent of area median income and some for those making less than 85 percent.

Couch 9, Pearl District mixed-use building, gained unanimous Portland Design Commission approval

Plans for the Couch 9 project, developed by Portland-based Urban Assets Advisors, includes 137 apartments, approximately 8,000 SF of commercial space and two levels of underground parking with 87 spaces. Overall, commissioners said they were impressed with Vallaster Corl Architects’ design for Couch 9 and praised the bright red recessed balconies on portions of the facade.
